Why do I need a logo for my business?


First impressions are made by a logo or its absence!

A logo is the messenger of your company’s brand. The more professional your logo design is the higher are the chances that your company will be perceived as trustworthy by the customers.

Having a good logo is extremely important to your business and to the branding of your company’s name, but it is also important to help attract new customers. It's the first thing you see, and the last thing you remember!

Logos carry roots from ancient civilizations that used pictures to communicate words and ideas, logo beginnings more specifically came from the 13th century. One example of a timeless logo (1904) is the Shell Oil logo. Think of all those old signs that the American Pickers have collected!

Four general categories of logos exist:

1.) Textual

2.) Illustrated

3.) Symbolic and

4.) Combination of these three.

They are also called:

"ICONS, LOGO TYPE/WORD MARKS, and COMBINATION MARKS."
