Transfer A Domain You Own Outside WIX

TRANSFERRING AND ASSIGNING
If you purchased your domain OUTSIDE WIX you will need to transfer and then assign to your site.
Before you begin, make sure you have your username and password ready. This information will be needed for the account holder of your domain, such as GoDaddy or any other provider. Depending on your choice for domain management, the process may involve a simple connection or a full transfer.

*** STEP 2.) AFTER DOMAIN TRANSFERRED:
Once you have transferred your domain to Wix, it is already in your account, and you can connect it to a specific site by going to the Domains page in your Wix account, selecting your domain, and clicking Assign to a site. A premium plan is required to connect a domain to a site.
Here is the step-by-step process:
Go to Domains: In your Wix account dashboard, go to the Domains page.
Assign to Site: Click the Domain Actions icon next to the transferred domain and select "Assign to a different Site".
Select Site: Choose the specific site you want to connect the domain to and click Next.
Configure: If the site is already connected to a different domain, choose to either redirect or replace it.
Finish: Click Assign to finalize the connection.
Then your website will be successfully be live and connected to your custom URL! You did it!
